This article is about the OnePlus 3 .

This is the fourth smartphone from the company which initially released their first device in 2014. Now like any other smartphone there are some pros and cons with the OnePlus 3. However before talking about the OnePlus 3 pros and cons I would like to tell you that I am only telling you the facts and not my personal opinions and reviews. So lets get started.A Far Better Alternative Smartphone

Reasons to Buy OnePlus 3 ( Pros):

Below are the OnePlus  advantages and disadvantages.
1. The display is an Optic AMOLED screen and not a regular IPS LCD screen which is a good thing. It consumes less power and provides better viewing angles compared to an IPS LCD.
2. Next OnePlus 3 pros is the display which is protected is Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for scratch resistant.
3. The smartphone is very slim which is of only 7.4 mm in thickness. Despite being a large smartphone it still very light which weights only 158 grams.
4. This time the entire body is made out of uni-metal body design with high grade aluminum.
5. Another pros is that for processing it has an insanely fast Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm.
6. And for gaming it is powered with Adreno 530 GPU.
7. For multitasking it is coupled with 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. There is no any flagship smartphone to have this much of RAM.
8. The operating is installed with the latest version of Android Marshmallow with OxygenOS on top of it. There is no any bloatwares or unnecessary apps that usually comes pre installed with other devices. Its 100% clean and looks like it stock Android. Its a huge pros when compared to other devices.
9. The camera is a 16 megapixel sensor on the primary side. The best part of the camera sensor is that it has an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) which prevents shaky images or videos.
10. Moreover the 16 megapixel camera can record videos in 4K resolution and also in slow motion at 720p at 120 fps (frames per second).
11. Next OnePlus 3 pros or merits is that this time it has NFC (Near Field Communication).
12. It has also got a USB Type-C reversible connector.
13. Fast battery charging technology is supported which can charge from 0% to 60% under 30 minutes with the help of Dash Charge.
14. Another OnePlus 3 pros is that it has an insanely fast fingerprint sensor below the display. Comparatively it is the second fastest fingerprint sensor next to the iPhone 6S.
15. Apart from the fingerprint sensor it has Hall sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and Electronic Compass.
16. It does support VoLTE which is a OnePlus 3 pros. It is a feature that allows users to make voice calls over LTE networks.
17. Supports gestures like when you wake your hand over the screen it will display notifications. It also supports tap to wake up the device.

Reasons Not to Buy OnePlus 3 (Cons):

1. For the given price tag it should have come up a 2K display. In case if you are looking for a 2K display smartphone at a price lower than this then follow this link.
2. The first problems or issues with the device is about the absence of a microSD card slot. It is a huge OnePlus 3 cons and there is no proper reason for ditching the memory card slot.
3. Another OnePlus 3 cons or disadvantages is the heating issues. Now don’t get me wrong here, the heating problems is not because of either gaming or multitasking. It is observed while quick charging the battery. This can be solved by turning off the device while charging, but that’s definitely a sweet solution.
4. Next OnePlus 3 cons is that the display resolution is not good for experiencing VR headsets though it is made VR friendly.
5. There is no dedicated navigational touch buttons below the screen which is a cons or demerits as it uses the real estate of the display.
6. Another OnePlus 3 cons or demerits is that the 3000 mAh battery is not enough to last through out the day even for a normal user.
7. There is a huge camera bump on the back panel which is very annoying as it creates an elevation while placing the device on a flat surface.
